a review of Ordinaries: Shifters Book II by marena.youngs
After such a great start with Shifters, I was very excited to read the second book. I'm usually wary of book 2 of any trilogy, but Ordinaries did not disappoint. The authors turned on the action in this one, from start to finish. The pacing of the story was great and the plot moved along nicely. I was worried they may have given up too many secrets of the character's apts and powers, but I feel they know what they are doing and have a clear vision for this story. The element I missed the most was the sibling relationship. This was expressed wonderfully in the first book, but missing from the second. I felt like the authors were attempting to separate Ryland and Tanner in this book in preparation for finding out their real identities. I have some theories on that, but will keep them to myself. I'm looking forward to the release of Revolutionaries.
