A very good and enjoyable story. I could clearly feel the author's love and connection to nature expressed in the pages. The characters were all written and developed well. I wanted to like this book so much more. I really did. Unfortunately, the long journal entries at the start of each chapter broke the pace of the story. I couldn't get into a good flow. Then when I was interrupted while reading, it was so hard to remember where I left off. I wish the editor had taken more time proofing this book. The errors really detracted from the quality of the story. A good book and an author with great potential.
