a review of The Edge of Nowhere by TexasRebel
The Edge Of Nowhere is the story of Victoria and how she was able to survive during the dust bowl days in Oklahoma. When Victoria's mother died shortly after giving birth to a still-born, it makes Victoria not wanting to received love from anyone until a man named Will comes along and changes everything. When Will dies suddenly, Victoria is forced to make decisions that will change her life. When one of her kids gets rabies, a handsome doctor will make her believe that you can't have the happy ending unless you make decisions that will remain with only you until you die.
I loved this book and how it just so easily flowed with everything that happens. I'm a Texan and I grew up listening to my grandpa tell stories on how it was back in those days when a dust storm would just came up without warning and how everyone had struggles in their lives, C.H nailed everything right down to the red dirt of Oklahoma. You would think this book is a memoir by the way it is written and to me that makes it even more perfect!
Thank You to C.H. Armstrong for writing a fantastic debut novel and I'm looking forward to more books by you!!!
