In love!
First of all, might I just say how much I loved this book and these well-written characters!
Joan...you really took a risk when writing this book the way you did, but you did it oh so well! Boy, what an emotional ride this took me on. I was happy, angry, sad, annoyed, and turned on all at some point in my reading of In the Stars!
Caroline is a hot commodity with the men...they adore her and it doesn't help that she is absolutely gorgeous. When Tara, an unexpected friend, pops into her life by mere chance, she can't get over how instantly attracted she is with this woman's super hunk of a brother, Eric. Eric shows up into Caroline's life by being the protective, and also overbearing at times, cop to his sister Tara. His teasing both infuriates and arouses Caroline like nothing she's ever experienced.
When she goes to take her best friend Raleigh for a routine checkup, she meets Kyle, her friends physical assistant, there's an immediate attraction. Things heat up quickly for the two, but something is holding Caroline back. It doesn't make sense to her since kyle is the perfect guy...he's sexy, charming, kind, and caring. So why is she thinking of another man that she barely knows?
You'll be pulled in from the start and itching to get to the end. You'll be experiencing all kinds of emotions with Caroline as she becomes torn at what the right thing to do. ..Someone is going to get hurt. ..but who? *A must read! You won't be disappointed. Can't wait to read the next one :)
