Biography:
I'm a licensed massage therapist born, raised, and living in Oklahoma City. I have a boyfriend and two cats and way more yarn than I'll ever find the time to crochet, and I love to play video games and dance around the apartment to 70s and 80s music when no one's home to laugh at me :)
Some of my earliest memories are around three years old, learning to read by sounding out the ingredient lists on the cereal boxes, and I've been hooked ever since. It's always been an escape for me, a way to get out of my pleasantly normal life and into a life of adventure and triumph. My parents let me read anything and everything I wanted, even some things I probably shouldn't have for that age. I carried an extra backpack to elementary school with the books I was reading for pleasure and the librarians paged my classroom if they hadn't seen me by noon.
I'm the kind of reader who re-reads all her childhood favorites annually, if not more often. The Time Quintet and The Dark is Rising Sequence, by the way, top that list.
