You need to read the first book before this, but this was a great follow-up. Firstly, it was great that the story was told from two perspectives this time, so we got to uncover some of his reasoning and perspective.
Secondly, although there is not as many sex scenes, they are crazy hot.
Thirdly, It's nice to see Chere moving up in the world career-wise, and having a social life.
I am really looking forward to reading the third book for a reason.
I am loving this whole series and highly recommend it!
