This is the first book in the Gravity series and another great book from Sarina Bowen.
It's the love story between Willow and Dane.
She's a young girl diasapponted by her past relationships and bad choices, left alone to run a farm, and with debts. Trapped in this situation she's not able to fulfill her dream to become a psychologist.

“Honesty is supposed to be the best policy. But sometimes honesty bites us in the ass.”

“Danger” Dane is a famous ski champion that is fighting with a demon he belives he can't defeat: a family illness that has already taken away his mother and his brother. He has the certainty that the demon is coming for him, too. That's why he's a champion and the faster skier. On the snow he fears nothing, not even for his life, because there is nothing left to lose and no future for him.

“Nowhere on earth was Dane more aware of his own fagile mortality than on this particular property, where inside the building people lay bent and broken in a hundred different ways.”

But destiny has is way to bring these two lost soul together. Willow and Dane met during a blizzard. Stucked in Dane's pick up the flame of passion explodes at instant sight, and it's powerful. They can't resist each other, as they're craving what they missed more in their life: Love.

“Heaven help him, but this girl was like kryptonite on his willpower.”

From that night they'll be connected forever. Even if they try to stay away from each other, there is a force, like Gravity, stronger than their willpower that pull them together.
Their connection is conflicted, but sweet and heartwarmig.
I loved how the story progressed.
Willow is smart, she thinks to be unlucky and I love how she handles her life with strong determination. She is sweet and honest.
Dane comes to realize that without health you've nothing. No money and no fame can save you from a situation of Gravity. Sometimes he acts like a jerk and an idiot (why do not test yourself before?) but beneath this surface he's really a good and sexy guy.
Sarina Bowen's characters are not perfect or always likeable, and that's why they're so believable and true. Her story it's not sugar coated.

“That's how things always unraveled—one misaligned turn led to an even bigger one. Each mistake raised the stakes for the next one, leading to even bigger corrections. Just like real life.”

After reading this book: I won't look again at the back of a green Jeep in the same way, and this winter I won't be annoyed to watch skyiers on tv.

Cold can be heartwarming
