Nice world, lacking characters
I absolutely loved the premise of this book. Unfortunately, the characters were difficult to connect with. There was no gradual growth or change in the characters through the story. Instead, two of them remained flat while the third changed without warning. The romantic aspect was random, glazed over, and also written with no build up. It didn't add anything to the story. While I find the world an intriguing one, the characters lacked humanity's proclivity to react and be molded by challenge.
