Biography:

I'm not real good at talking about myself, but since I see this as a necessity I will make the effort. So here I go...

Reading was never something I did, it wasn't a hobby or something I enjoyed. But, if I hadn't been a teenager looking for acceptance I would've never been introduced to the world of reading. I started off reading historical, contemporary, and Africa-American urban romance because they were what my sisters and mom read. Even though I started reading under the wrong motivations it eventually helped me find my niche.

Just a little side note: There are books I will automatically say no to and there are books that will always receive a yes for me. I will elaborate more on a different page.

I am so grateful to the reading community on both Goodreads and Facebook for mostly being open and honest, you've really embraced me and my reading personality when others have judged.

I've always dabbled in blogging. My first taste was a Christian blog/journal that I started a couple of years ago, but stopped when I ran out of things to say and started to sound preachy (which was not my intent).

I love talking to others about the things that I love, so no matter what the book or topic is (because they will always vary) reach out, jump into the conversation.

This is a safe environment and I will make sure it stays that way.
