A promising and intriguing story
Unfortunately, I didn't know that this title was a novella. I prefer a more immersive reading experience than novellas and short stories can supply.
That being said, Meldon incorporated the right amount of fantasy into modern-day Manhattan and Aphrodite is an excellently written protagonist! Her interactions with the reader and with the outside world were realistic.
I will be reading the rest of the series, as Meldon has interested me in the journey of this character!
